ACL Qualifier At Boomtang VIII
The Australian Console League will be running its inaugural season of Halo 2 this year, kicking off at Boomtang VIII. Check it out...
Next Boomtang on May 6th will have a slight twist. It will be the official South Australian ACL Halo 2 qualifier. What is ACL? The Australian Console League, an Australia-wide community of Xbox players that have brought together the best Xbox LAN groups from every state, which along with XLANSA includes TGR (The Green Room), GoSolid and PGL (Perth Gaming League) to create a national league.
The first season of ACL is going to be a Halo 2 team and FFA competition. It is set to begin in May, with state events across the nation. This will earn teams and players points that will allow them to compete in the National Event held over 2 days, on the 15th and 16th of July. This will be held at Australia’s biggest console lounge, The Green Room. An online event held via Xbox LIVE is also set to take place in June.
Boomtang VIII will be host to serval interstate players wishing to gain some extra seeding points, so be on the look out for them along with SA’s usual top players. Please check out the
ACL website to find out more information. If you have any queries, either post over at the ACL forums or here at XLANSA in
this thread.
