Australian Release Dates Announced
It's official: Microsoft will be releasing the 360 down under on the 2nd of March, 2006.
Seems like a long wait? It gets better: The Australian pricing is significantly higher than the US cost. While the Premium console will be selling in Australia for AUD $649.95 (equivalent to USD $476) in North America it costs just USD $399.
The 'Core' system will retail for AUD $499.95.
Hopefully by the time the Xbox 360 is released in Australia, the initial product shortages will be resolved and any wrinkles will be ironed out.
