Congratulations on winning the last XLANSA Free-for-All competition at Boomtang IV. How did you feel about your chances leading into the competition?

Well I always thought it was going to be tough after my first Boomtang Free-For-All experience (Ed: Fish came 7th in the Boomtang III FFA) but with many of the main contenders for the win away in Sydney I thought I was in with a bit more of a chance.

During the tournament what did you think about your performance? Did you have any issues with the map rotation?

It was different and something that I needed to try and adapt to. All of the games were played on maps that I generally didn’t like for free-for-all and so I think I struggled especially once the finals drew closer. The last map Warlock has always been my favourite for any form of slayer match and so I went in with a bit more confidence.

What do you think of Teddy Joe, runner-up and your toughest competition in the tournament?

Teddy is a great player and I always enjoy playing against him. In the final we were neck and neck most of the way and for sometime I think he had a lead of 5 or 6 kills. I'm looking forward to playing more team games with him in the future too. It's always good fun to have another great player covering your back.

Do you feel that you have a good chance to defend your crown at the next Boomtang, with all the SA WCG competitors back in town?

It'll be a lot harder and I hope it all goes my way but I can't say what will happen.

Recently you have been added to Nuke and Pave’s roster, along with the stars of Boomtang’s reigning 4v4 team, how do you feel about that?

I believe it's a great honor really, being included amongst the best Halo players in the state. I actually never thought it would happen so I was pretty shocked when I was asked to join.
